Communion of Anglican Churches > COMMUNION OF ANGLICAN CHURCHES
THE COMMUNION OF ANGLICAN CHURCHES These three streams flow from one source-the truth of our Christian witness as taught by Jesus and His apostles, and together, the Scripture, the Sacramental Life and the Holy Spirit form a river that shapes our identity and guide our words, actions and worship. The Communion of Anglican Churches is a relational expression of these three streams for mission. This legacy can be found throughout the story of the Church. The Communion of Anglican Churches, as a religious association, is modeled on the Missionary Movements of the New Testament, the Patristic Church and the Missionary Societies of the 19th and 20th Centuries. At the Communion of Anglican Churches, we also believe God has a specific mission for everyone-including you! We believe serving others puts our faith into action through Apostolic Works creating a tangible expression of God's love and transforming power to change our communities everywhere.
Notre Dame STEPS Program - For Clergy Ordination >
STEP at the University of Notre Dame began in 1999 as the Satellite Theological Education Program. The Communion of Anglican Churches International began to utilize these resources for our clergy development program in 2001. they use digital technology to offer theological education to pastoral ministers and other adult students across the United States and beyond. They are part of Notre Dame's Institute for Church Life, which serves the University's larger mission of teaching, research, and service to society and to the Church. Their staff members work with Notre Dame professors and other highly qualified instructors to assemble lectures, readings, and supporting materials for Web-based courses. We train and coordinate facilitators, who in turn guide STEP students as they interact with each other and with Notre Dame's online learning environment. From registration to course completion, we strive to provide you with a friendly, supportive place to grow in faith and understanding.
